Director Statement
This is a heart wrenching documentary for the whole family meant to be the ultimate anti-war statement. Violence creates trauma and in return a vicious circle of violence.

The state of Illinois is frequently ranked as having one of the worst mental health care systems in the United States. The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill has given the state a grade of 'F' in recent years. But behind the defunding and disappointments are real people with real struggles. It's "those people" who are reclaiming their dignity by confronting systems of power and injustice."

I'm happy to say we've had two films come in the mail, and 4 total possible submissions. Also we've had a handful of request for wavering of submission price, witch I understand given the down economy. I'm working on some ideas to possibly sponsor these films, no promises.
