Jim looking for a video editor to help Jim with a TV show that will be aired on a major network starting this winter. They need someone who can edit 8 shows worth of cage fighting footage, intros, and interviews, but do voice over editing and some studio camera work. I have no capital until next month but need to put out the pilot this month. The job will pay $500 an episode. Do you have anyone or could you post to find someone? The show is called Desert Xtreme Television and will highlight fighters from around the world from Quinton Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans to New Mexico's newest King of the Cage title holders Donald Sanchez and Abel Cullum.

Leave a comment and I will DM the contact info

Doing a mass local search for camera operators for a small shoot at the end of this month. Looking to start getting names, resumes as soon as possible.
>
> Music Video is for an LA band called “Hollywood Undead”. They are playing in Tempe, AZ on Thursday, July 30th and here in Abq on Friday, July 31st. Not sure the names of the venues yet.
>
> I am looking for 10 camera opps to do some interviews and cover each of the performances. I will be searching to hire Operators locally in AZ but if we can’t find enough or if we love who we find here in NM we will try to bring a few opps to both shows.
>
> Director is actually LA editor so wants every possible angle of the performance covered.
>
> We are looking for some experienced camera people; but also college film students who are camera nerds. Would be a great – paying – opportunity for new shooters who want to put a paid gig on their new resume.
>
> Here is what we are looking for:
>
> 1st choice: Operators who own - Panasonic HVX 100 or 200 or Sony EX1 (or something equal to these)
> (rate will be higher if you can bring your own camera)
>
> If you can operate but don’t own a camera please send me your resume too. (Make sure to indicate yes or no on the gear)
>
> Details that I know right now:
>
> Shoot dates July 30 and 31, 2009
> Production company: Sunset Edit
> Have full Insurance Coverage
> Payment on day of show
> 8hrs or less of work on day of show
>
> If you or anyone you know is interested in being considered please send resumes ASAP to me at kimberlycarey1@mac.com.
>
> Do not be shy if your rez doesn’t have much on it yet. As long as you feel you know your camera gear well and have a few shoots under your belt we still want to know you.
> Director still believes you have something good to offer this project.
>
> Thanks so much for your help. Pretty easy gig with some fun folks. We would LOVE to have you!
>
Sincerely,
Kim Carey

Please join Rudy Miera and I as we present the first full-length film screening at Friends of Film. "Titus" is a movie that I have been a huge fan of since I first saw it in 1999, and I'm now getting to share it with all of you on the big screen, in full throttle stereo sound!
It's only 5 bucks, it's the Bard's birthday, it's a benefit for Friends of Film and the Harwood Art Center, a networking event, and I guarantee you that this is a cinematic experience you don't want to miss! Stay around for some discussion with folks in the film community. Get some culture in your life on Shakespeare's birthday!
See you there! More
