Add a little "epic" to your small personal film

As we have been working on development of The House we have been creating our opening sequence for the film. Airplane landing on Moosehead Lake, Maine. Sound simple. But in fact when you watch the film and the developments of the shot it's not that simple.

Step #2: Redeveloping the Pre-viz

The VFX designer and director discuss changes to some of the shots. The VFX designer changes the camera angles, etc. One of the big changes was the reflection shot which we change the entire camera position. Making the changes in the pre-viz means that we are cutting down time/money that would be spent if we had made the entire sequence photo-realistic and then made the changes.


Step #3 The VFX designer will be adding more to the cloud sequence in the begining to give us more time for adding titles prior to the airplane flying by. He is also adding more camera shake to some of the shots to add to the realism.
